I think that you've done pretty well. The Miller deal is dangerous unless you have an extension pre-negotiated like @TMLBrian says, but that sort of thing happens all the time, as we just illustrated with Kevin Fiala. That's a good solution to your goalie problem, but I doubt that Anaheim co-operates, and I doubt that Edmonton gives you Jesse Puljujarvi for so little. But from your PoV, this is a success.

I would hope Edmonton doesn't do that little for Pulju,
