None of these are realistic. The Vancouver fanbase has taken overvaluing a player to a whole new level. I'd be willing to give up a 2nd at most for him.

Too much for tanev. I think both tanev and harmonic lost a lot of value by not being moved last year. One year older one year closer to ufa and both had weak years. I think both defensemen are defensive #4D men and complimentary to who ever they play with. It's hard to see tanev getting more then a decent prospect (not a top) and a late first (not mid/early) or second and a salaried (even money) depth roster player. Unless there is a bidding war of course which is possible as RHD are valuable and teams need them. Gms make dumb trades all the time but I believe what I'm suggesting to be fair.

Tanev doesn't even start conversations for Drouin. I think he's being overvalued a bit

Leafs would be willing to offer Brendan Leipsic/Kerby Rychel (both solid B/B+ prospects) Connor Carrick (whose 4 years younger) and maybe a late first if we acquire one or a second

Tanev is good but unsexy and wouldn't generate many chances, his shot suppressing is fantastic but that's not exactly marketable
