Doubt the Leafs have any interest in moving Sandin for 1 season of a goalie. They'd be better off signing a free agent like Holtby or MAF then maybe circle back on Varlomov at the deadline depending on how things work out.

yeah, i figured it was probably a stretch but if the leafs were in a tight spot maybe it’d go through with the retention.

Mark spector is horrible everyone hates him, and pulijarvi is worth more than that and the oilers would want a player that can help them win now instead of draft picks.
