MTL need to shred some cap space not taking it back. Even if the contract on Myer and Pearson finish before Petry one it's to much. MTL have Romanov, rem pitlick and Pezzetta to resign this year and in the next one it's Caufield and he will probably have a contract similar of Suzuki around 7 to 8 millions.

Habs gain negative value here so why on earth would they even consider ?! They ain't trading petry unless someone pays and that someone has to be outside canada

as a nucks fan this is literally heaven, shedding cap and getting a top 4 d man but this unfortunately would never happen.
