CBJ declines. They traded PLD to get Laine, they aren't going to give him up for Debrusk, 1st, 2nd, and Foligno lol

Thats fair but PLD wanted the hell out of dodge.

That being said the bruins likely don't have the capital to make a move for laine as the ask would hurt the team now and in the future to bring Laine in. They need to keep the pick and get some prospects in the system and they can roll DeBrusk at his 25 goals at 4 million vs Laine who still needs to be signed and will likely get 8 mill +
