Will Butcher, if he stays in the NHL, should not get more than league minimum. Tampa can do much better for a 3rd pair LHD

Sergachev and Cirelli both get $7.2m as their base salary next season. Doesn' t that mean 7.2 will be the minimum qualyfing offer next summer?

no, their contracts were signed after the new CBA so its limited to 120% of the AAV instead. its 5.76m for Sergy and Cirelli, and for Cernak its 3.54m
