Ya definitely closer there. What would you say the likelihood of Poulin being a Top 6 winger is?

I'd say maybe 30-40% chance. I think it's more likely he ends up being a solid 3rd liner. He definitely has potential tho, had a slow season, but took off towards the end

Canes pass. Not enough value to even consider trading Necas.

I don’t think the Pens have the pieces for either of the things the Canes would ship Necas for. 1) They really don’t have the pieces to build a good enough package for Necas quality wise that doesn’t get beat by other offers, and 2) They really don’t have the pieces for the Canes to make a package involving Necas to send to Pittsburgh. The only one that could be of interest would be Guentzel, and personally, I hope the Canes don’t try making that move, since in my opinion, Guentzel is very overrated. But that’s a debate for another time. That is all before considering that this would be an intra divisional trade, so it would take more than say, what it might take Minnesota to acquire him.

Necas is also a fan favorite, and is beloved inside the organization as well. For option 1 it will take a massive overpay too stupid for the Canes to refuse for the Canes to move Necas.

Ok that's fair, but Guentzel for Necas would be an absurd trade for the Pens to make. I think Marino plus could possibly get it done.
