That type of response is just shooting from the hip, crowd noise. A tackling dummy could have written it. What I am seeking, and so stated, is how would you do it, in specific terms if you were trying to trade for Yanni Gourde. It's clear you didn't read the rationale. So if it's that bad how who you do it, or maybe you don't want to go on record.

Nobody is irreplaceable. Another shoot for hip response. Step up how would you craft a trade for Yanni Gourde. It's clear you didn't take the time to read the rationale.

I was kidding, all the players on the rangers you listed are average hockey players but if you ask rangers fans they already belong in the HOF

Gourde retained is key, remove Kakko & Krav/Jones and add picks. Four assets for a 5m+ player doesn't work

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that this trade is balanced, you’re obviously hearing it from others. Maybe try to explain how you got there. This package would be enough to get Cirelli.

Kakko-far from bust and still a baby
Kravs-just starting to mature and could end up being a Zherdev type talent
Jones-similar to Fox but not as good and could probably be in our top 4 long term
Chytil-has had a very similar start to his career as Zibby did and has a lot of similarities

Imagine trading Zibby, Antropov, Zherdev and a 4/5 D man for a guy that’s slightly better than Goodrow. Could probably even compare him to Brassard when we swapped him for Zibby. Not a great look for OTT, this could be astronomical as far as losing a trade

You don't trade that much for a mid 6 winger on a playoff team. But depending on what position Seattle would want a trade would be something like kravtsov/lundkvist a 2nd and a lower prospect like pajuniemi

Again , be specific and stop with the "driveby analysis" If you can't manage that, then stop wasting my time.

Thanks. I really would appreciate your thoughts on how you would construct a trade for Yanni. Look forward to hearing from you.

So, the me how you would do it. That's what I was looking for. If you give me a specific proposal in return, then we have a basis for a conversation. I really am interested in your "specific" thought on how you would construct a deal for Yanni. If you respond back with something like that, then we have a basis for a conversation. Look forward the telling me how you would do it.

First, and let me state a personal bias. Nils is on my keep list, so let me substitute Jones. Go back and read my rationale statement. Yanni played #2C for SEA in 21-22. He is a 50 pt. scorer and respectable at the Dot. SEA is going to want an NHL ready C back. And SEA also has leverage in the deal (NYR boxed themselves into a CAP corner. I don't think Filip's future is at C, but at LW. I get the age difference, The team being accommodated here are the NYR. Given my stated bias about and using your response I have it at Chytil/Kratsov/a second rounder/ I would surrender a lower prospect if I have to (i.e. the last part would not be part of my opening offer. For the record, I don't want to lose Chytil unless I have to either. First, thanks for taking the time to give me a more serious reply. Second, would my counter proposal be a little closer to what you had in mind? This kind of an exchange is what makes the "Armchair Room" fun. Look forward to your reply. P.S. if you ever want to run one of yours past me, don't hesitate.

Slow down trigger finger. Read, think, then type. I was responding to another fan base, saying that we think our kids are the best. Reality is, they could all be busts or chicks for that matter, the ELC is the important part! Sure some of them will be dangled, not all, and not for 5.5+m names. Shouldn't have to re re explain!

I still don't see any names, just generalities. I don't think all of them will be offered up either. But SEA is going to want at least 1 NHLer (Yanni is their #2C - 50 pts.) and some prospects, and possibly a pick. Something like that Yanni for Chytil, Kravtsov ........... Perhaps Pajuniemi. How would you fill in the blanks?
