Leafs dont need another RW though.....

JP needs a team where he can get top 6 minutes

In Toronto hes behind Nylander and Marner

Sandin is showing much more promise than Puljujarvi though, definitely wouldn't be a 1 for 1, and the Leafs would need a good LD prospect back, probably Broberg, and then the Leafs would have to add.

True, but the Leafs can always move one of their big wingers, possibly Nylander. They need a shakeup. Pulju would be a fantastic player for them. Although they have some great defensive players, you can never have enough ESPECIALLY when you don’t even know who’s gonna be the goaltender next year. Sandin also doesn’t fit their roster scheme anymore unless they opt to move someone like Muzzin.

That's a good point, Nylander could play on the other side, or if they put him at center (since that's a trend) that could give JP a spot, but most likely he would be stuck on L3 and request a trade from the Leafs.

Possibly, but I decided to keep it simple here. You get the point, two RFAs that could be on the move. I think the value is fairly even considering the Puljujarvi’s incredible analytics.

JP, hasn't proven he can slide into that spot, so say they do move Nylander for a LW. There's no guarantee that he would get those minutes if he doesn't perform. Also, making another trade to accommodate a player that you are acquiring because you have a player that you want but wants a better playing opportunity doesn't make much sense.

Sandin has incredible offensive analytics as well, he's a player that they do need, if he's traded it should be for another young Dman.

I don't think Sandin for Puljujarvi works as a base, but I do appreciate it when posters try to keep it simple without conflating the base trade idea with minor assets.

I'd say CHI accepts, but Keith has no intention of coming back to CHI and he has full control over whether he is traded or not.

Anywhere that he’d agree to go to and that they don’t need 5.5 Mil this coming season is good with me
