Trade makes no sense, 3rd rounder seems like a reach. Seems to be the theme though with most the picks too

Maybe could have been a higher pick but he is better than Leonard and shoots right which SJ desperately needs... and Kunin is bigger/tougher fitting Grier's mold. Former 1st rounder vs 6th rounder.. maybe that plays into the 3rd pick a little.
Kunin had a 2.3mil contract, so is not exactly going to be cheap. It reinforces that there's going to be folks on the bottom 6 going out the door

I mean he brings little offense, hasn’t had a good season in awhile if ever. Seems like the kind of guy that doesn’t get a QO especially with arb rights. I have no problem moving Leonard but it seems like a waste of a 3rd

Fully, emphatically agreed. Just really disappointed with this move. Not a good start to Grier's tenure as GM whatsoever.

I’m disappointed with the draft too. Loved the decision to move down and pick up 2 seconds with the depth of that same level of talent. Then they passed up that talent left and right. I don’t get it. But hey, I’m not a scout so what do I know
