1.
TOR
  1. 2024 6th round pick (CBJ)
Additional Details:
If Columbus was going after McDougah, I see them as a POTENTIAL fit as they looked at Ryan who also cost more and signed longer. Muzzin showed in the playoffs he can still be a good dman and prove his worth(maybe not at this cap hit but still hs value). At 5.62 for only 2 more years I can see him waiving his NTC to some team maybe not Columbus but someone will want him as teams always want a big, physical dman
2.
TOR
  1. 2024 4th round pick (SJS)
ARI
  1. Holl, Justin
Additional Details:
Anyteam for a 4th. Solid 6th dman or depth for the playoffs who can also PK. Teams will always want depth
3.
TOR
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (BOS)
ANA
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
Anyteam for a 2nd or 2 3rd’s. Can play all 4 lines and can PK really well

20 man roster won't work. Need to account for injuries and nights off needed. You didn't qualify Engvall or Kase. No Wayne Simmonds. Why is Muzzin waiving his NTC for Columbus? He's a Toronto boy. Why would be want to leave Toronto?

Husso got 4.75 mil AAV. Campbell will get more than 5 mil AAV now. Rutta likely takes less to stay in no tax Tampa. Not sure why Marchment would sign with the team who discarded him for scrub Malgin. Joey Anderson lacks NHL speed. He's Marlies depth. Dubie should sign Comrie as a backup G.

I’d rather get Holl if I’m Columbus, if he plays well they can keep him if he struggles they can let him walk, low risk high reward move for that.

Muzzin is just a bit old and his contract doesn’t fit the timeline. McDonugh would be coming into the final year of two of his contract when Columbus is ready to be competitive, Muzzin would be expiring and moving on by then. I also don’t see muzzin waiving to go to Columbus.

That’s why I have 2M in cap space and I meant not to offer Engvall and Kase. This team needs to get more physical and thats the reason why I didn’t bring them back. If Campbell wants more then hes gone as it’s too big of a risk. If Marchment doesn’t come there are plenty of options to fit that role like a Ganger or Vrtrano etc. No guarantee he does come back as no one knows so rn I sign Rutta.

I get that but also mcdonugh, had 4 years left at over 7.5 so that’s why I could see muzzin moving to Columbus at 5.62X2yrs. But that NTC will make it hard forsure

We were getting McDonagh for free, and he is a superior player. Why would we therefore pay for an inferior player?

Holl might be interesting because he's RD and we need defensive guys. Muzzin isn't.
