At this point, it would be smart to buyout Myers, try and get Rutta to sign less than 2m for the year, sign someone like Giroux or Malkin to a 1 year deal and bring in a bottom pairing LHD like Gustafsson, or Butcher on a cheap deal and roll some prospects like Koepke, BB, Fortier, Perbix and see what sticks

Well one thing we know they aren't going into the season with 4+ million in cap space, they'll spend it.
