I know on the market he could probably get 10mil+, but I think he does a Tavares and takes a discount to come play at home. If we get him.

JH home is Philly to him. But I’m hoping he doesn’t want to play with Tortz and realizes Philly is in the basement while NJ (the closest other option to home) to closer to contend.

I thought Jersey was home and Philly was his favourite team growing up?

I have seen on a few sights that Vitek will make about 5 Mill on a three year deal.

"On a two-year deal, Evolving-Hockey projects Vanecek to earn a cap hit of $3.995 million, which is reasonable given the numbers he’s put up in his two years. If the Devils decide to give him a third year, Evolving-Hockey projects a cap hit of $5.038 million."
