I wouldn’t feel ok paying more than 5 mil for Giroux on a 2+ year deal. Lazar and Alex are just depth forwards for under a mil could be literally anyone. The forward core gets a good bump adding 2 top 6 forwards allowing Jesse to play 3rd line and Ryan the 4th line, we also add a good draw winning Center in geekie. If New Jersey would take Foegle and a mid round pick for Mcleod and another one of their cheap depth forwards I would be down to do that to but didn’t put it in this cap friendly. Subbing Keith and Barrie for Broberg and Soucy makes the defence multiple times better in every area except experience. Campbell and Skinner is a way better duo than Smith and Mikko. So this is definitely an improvement over past years Conference final team
