Aren't you the same guys that got rid of two years of Petr Mrazek's $3.8 million cap hit by simply moving back from #25 to #38? But now dumping $3.125 million for two years of Matt Murray costs a first-round pick? Can't you guys remember back three whole days? After all, the transaction involved YOU.

If you get more than exchanging Ottawa's 2023 second for your 2023 third, you should all break your arms patting yourselves on the back.

And Muzzin for Quick is like Bjornfot for Bunting.

NMC of different teams and actual cash left owed are two things that complecate these deals. Take your leaf bashing glasses off and you will understand. Toronto is not in the situation to take a massive cap and Ottawa is left to buy him out or sell him. Do the math

"Leaf-bashing glasses"? I just bash one-sided bad trade proposals that favor the Leafs. Like Muzzin for Quick, which is even worse than Silfverberg for Sandin or Walker for Brodie. And guys with 22-man rosters and $10,217 in cap space shouldn't be embarrassing themselves by telling someone else to "do the math."

The whole reason why you want the unavailable Jonathan Quick is that subconsciously, you've already realized that Toronto won't get any farther with Matt Murray than you did with Jack Campbell.

Actually no it's because I've read a few times over the years they tried to move him and at almost 6 mil there's very little teams who would take a 36-37 year old. Muzzin has more value I'm sorry to say

Los Angeles has NEVER tried to trade Jonathan Quick. You can rely on that.

so you guys get Murray at only 1.5, a 1st, AND get rid of Holl? are Leafs fans even listening to themselves anymore??? do you genuinely think that the Sens would retain 50%, give up an unprotected first, and take the big pylon named Holl?

There is no "getting rid of Holl". He has value thats why he was in the deal. Hes a cheap top 4 dman. Take him out and lower the pick i dont care
