This could work but I see the leafs wanting some players on entry level that can help them now. I see brannstrom and Grieg fitting that.

I did consider ELC players , but felt better with the picks that could be flipped at the trade deadline for proven players

Ottawa views Greig as an untouchable prospect. No way the sens give him up to their division rivals to dump cap.
