Love the idea! Only thing I’d do differently is play Damiani instead of Olofsson, shift Peterson to LW and put Damiani at C. He’s younger and better, in the games he played this year with Dallas he looked pretty good, him and Peterson had great chemistry in the games they played together.

This is the ultimate great and also realistic offseason for the Stars. Fills the hole on RD with Bear while not overpaying for Strome or our RFAs.

I agree that Olofsson will be playing in AHL and Damiani has better chances to play than him. Other than that, this is probably it.
Also good thing it you didn't trade Khudobin in this one, basically having the option of doing so only if needed and possibly creating another cap space or having him on in case there's injury to Oettinger/Wedgewood.

Realistically though they won't trade Faksa but rather Khudobin, but it still fits within the cap.
