U gotta realize it makes zero sense for ottawa to do that. If they are giving up pinto they aren’t retaining at all. This is a “best case scenario” for leafs fans but a best case scenario for sens fans is nylander for Murray retained. That’s the equivalent of how bad this trade is

pinto will be the 3c next year, ottawa buying out colin white confirmed that hes not going anywhere. The agm also threatened to resign if we didnt draft him, so cant say theyd be on board to trade him either

Murray is a cap dump but Dorion swindles ole Dubus into only retaining 25% plus some nothing picks. Great move by ottawa and the hidden bonus. murray will be playing goal for the leafs which weakens them. No way he's a good a campbell was last season.
