Interesting one for ANA. Myers doesn’t really fit long term with his age and 2 years of contract, but could be a good bridge until some of the younger guys are ready, and ANA needs help on the back end. Two thirds isn’t much to give, I kinda think I’d take that

Vancouver is rumoured to be looking for a 2nd for Myers with no retention so they’re certainly not retaining half and only getting 2 3rds. If Myers gets sent somewhere with 50% retained he’s worth a 1st plus.

Would prefer other packages for Murphy. He could probably fetch a 2nd + or a late 1st. The dump of Poolman for 3 years would have to cost more than a 3rd and it takes a roster spot.

Myers is worth a late second but probably a 3rd. I’m a fellow Canucks fan but we have to be realistic man. Two 3rds is fair and everyone is happy.

Myers was actually pretty good for Vancouver last year and with the premium on rhd league wide if Vancouver retains half his contract to move him there’s definitely a team that would pay a 1st for him at 3m.
