Thoughts for Free Agency

Description
This will most likely not happen, as I think this many signings are unrealistic. I'm more measuring what everyone thinks of the values of the signings and the trades. You all think they are fair?

Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Korpisalo, Joonas
Additional Details:
Leafs have been interested in Korpisalo for a long time, and his value is at an all time low right now
CBJ
  1. Muzzin, Jake
Additional Details:
Columbus is apparently interested in Muzzin after losing out on McDonagh. Figured Columbus is close enough to his family and a good enough team that Muzzin waives his NTC.
2.
TOR
  1. Bantle, Carson [Reserve List]
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Bantle was a player that Leafs central scouting was looking at last year, and as a NCAA player is unlikely to sign with the Coyotes. Arizona puts him in the trade and Toronto signs him to ELC. 3rd is added to balance out the value a bit.
ARI
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
After paying out the bonuses on July 1st, Kerfoot has a $3.5 mil cap hit, but is only owed $750k in salary. Great value for Arizona to have a cheap player that can get them to the cap floor.
3.
TOR
  1. 2023 4th round pick (OTT)
OTT
  1. Holl, Justin
Additional Details:
Ottawa is looking for another RD, but this trade is really to any team the deal can be made with in order to free up some cap space.

For the most part I like this.
I think it is a big "What If" that Jake Muzzin would go to Columbus. I'd also give Joey Anderson an opportunity for the
4th Line RW Spot.

Muzzin isn't waiving for Columbus, who aren't trading Korpisalo before the season. Columbus plays in Finland in November and they signed him to a one year deal to try to revive his career. If he's good, he's a deadline candidate. But he's not going anywhere before that unless he's total garbage and gets waived.

I think youa re pretty bang on with contract values outside Neideritter.

He game is streaky, not a PPG player, defensivley kind of meh. Inwould say he is in the neighbourhood of $5 million depending on term.

I suspect you are using Nickuskin as a comparable (which is fair), but Nickuskin's has evolved into an above average two way forward, something I don't see in Neideritter per say.

Where is the source that CBJ are interested in Muzzin?

If it were up to me, I wouldn't trade for Muzzin. McDonagh was at least going to be a "free" waiver pick-up.
