Out of all possible prospects I really don't think the Jets would have much interest in Guhle. Heinola, Samberg, Chisholm are all young LHD prospects the Jets will need to get playing time in the next couple years, so it doesn't make sense to add to the logjam there.

Other than the first, there isn't a single piece Winnipeg would want.

Guhle, LD, last thing Winnipeg needs. Dvorak, overpaid 3C, second last thing Winnipeg needs.

He may leave, he may not. He just wants to test FA.

The Jets won't get the moon, but they'll at least get pieces that fill a need instead a quantity package of nothing special that does nothing for them.

If the trade doesn't make the Jets better now or in the future. Why would Winnipeg do it?

But why would the Jets let him get there? Why wouldn't they trade him next summer or at least at the TDL after that?
