Holland has already stated that he isn't trading Puljujarvi for less than he's worth and he's not interested in futures.

Some money has to go, whether he likes the return or not (esp with Connor Brown reportedly coming in via trade). And it doesn't make sense to take a player back if the whole point is to shed salary. So I'd bet he ends up getting traded for futures.

Oh for sure, totally agree with you there. But as we've seen with NHL GMs, just because they shouldn't do something, doesn't mean they won't.
