NYI would never do that deal. Kerfoot is exactly what that organization does not need. The one area they are deep at is C and he would fulfill their need as a top 6 scorer. As their GM says that is not a sensible "hockey trade" at all.

I'd have a lot less issue trading a 2nd (or the value of the offersheet) than I would with trading away young pieces of the offence when the end result would be guys like Grant, Gawdin, Mayhew, etc. filling those spots.

Maybe add a 2nd to Kerfoot and maybe but still Lou would reject they can pick up Milano in free agency who’s better than Kerfoot

The isles dont have a need for a top 9 F. They wouldve moved out one of their many top 9 Fs to make room for a top line winger.
