If this offer came across the table and Van didn't take it then Benning was a better and smarter GM

So basically trading for Nylander to upgrade on wing (we don’t need to upgrade on wing), trading for Sandin to upgrade on LD (we don’t need to upgrade on LD), trading for Engvall top upgrade on depth forwards (we don’t need to upgrade on depth forwards), a third and a fifth (wow truly moves the needle!). The Canucks then have to give up the best player in the trade, another MUCH CHEAPER top 9,winger, our best RHD. Next time you make such a confident statement, Atleast research what the other teams needs because this does not fill any of Vancouver’s holes, this does not make us better

Vancouver is full of holes , there is no deal out there that fills them, I have done my research and it's quite possible we disagree on what Vancouver's needs are

Our only holes right now are RHD, and a 3C if Miller is traded. That’s literally it. We are 2 good RHD away from being a contender. You clearly know nothing about Vancouver so don’t act like you do. At wing, we are absolutely stacked. At center, we already have 2 centers for our top 9. If Miller stays, we have 3 top 9 centers all of them being elite. We have a very solid left side D with Hughes OEL and Rathbone. We also have a franchise goaltender. This deal fills none of Vancouver’s needs.
We also need to get high end draft picks and good prospects. This deal has neither, in fact, we are giving up players that are currently in positions of weakness. Please re think your argument before you make yet another false claim
