How do the Kings fit OEL's contract under the cap? They can't even fit Luke Schenn's contract.

the kings were a random team i chose, OEL is still a great player and relatively young. The only reason I traded him was to make room for kylington and rathbone on the left side. Trading him will be hard, but like a said previously he is still very good

The Kings just spent 4 years stripping the team to trend younger, get rid of bad contracts, and return to competition.

30 year-old OEL has a $7.26M contract which ends in 26-27, a NMC, has had a avg corsi under 50% for the last 3 seasons and has played a game that would seem like he is a bit overpaid at the position.

I believe the Canucks are stuck with that contract unless they want to retain half, and even then the Kings only have like $1M in cap space.

So if OEL waives his NMC, the Kings somehow can move $5-6M in contracts, somehow decide to take on a contract that would pay a player well into his mid-30s, and decide that OEL is actually worth his contract, then I would put the percentage of this happening at about 0.002%

very good argument, i don't really care where he goes I just want to trade OEL. The kings were a random team

i know the only teams he was willing to go to were the canucks and bruins, but doesn't mean he will never change his mind.

I think it’s possible but his contract is harder to move than Petry.

recently I'm losing a little trust in Allvin and Rutherford, but I still think they can work some magic

Dipietro doesn’t have that much value. Was drafted 5 years ago and is coming off a middling year in the AHL.

That's a very high price to ask for Dipietro

Ranger make a counter offer of Libor Hajek and Julien Gauthier for JT Miller with 50% retention plus 2 years of 1st round picks.
