Legacy

Team: 2022-23 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 16, 2022
Published: Jul. 16, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The Penguins need to go ALL IN this year and next to win a 4th cup. This year will be their best chance. The contract structures allow for this so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. GO ALL IN.

To me, acquiring Miller makes way too much sense for Pittsburgh and I think it does for Vancouver a lot too. Just do it no matter what. Miller will resign. Zucker will be gone at the end of this year so use that cap to resign Jarry and Miller.

Because it’s so obvious at this point that the Canucks and penguins are perfect trade partners but nothing has happened yet I’m assuming Vancouver isn’t willing to move miller for that package.

Both GMs are probably just negotiating and trying to get the best deal

It’s early in the summer. Haven’t been many hockey trades anywhere yet have there? If Pens need to add a prospect or something do it.

Yes. It’s a hockey trade too which will define what teams look like. They are both likely still talking to free agents so navigating the cap and depth charts come into play as well.
