No from the Isles, Girard would be the 3 LD making $5M which does not make sense. Rather keep Pageau.

Will have to disagree with you.

Romanov is a perfect 2 LD who will be paired with Dobson and does not need to bring offense but provide solid defense and a physical presence.

Isles focus is on acquiring a top 6 wing, and if they cannot Lou will go into the season with what they have now.

Saying Romanov sucks but Girard hasn’t even put up better RAPM results despite playing on arguably the best team in the salary cap era.
