If Connor Brown went for a 2nd yeah Kerfoot who had a better season is getting the same.

The Leafs have more than 1 player they can trade, would rather keep Kerfoot if hes not getting a 2nd round pick since he has great value to the Leafs . Can just as easily trade Justin Holl

There was significant interest in Kerfoot before free agency started and there still is

Teams believe he can be a 5mill player according to Frank Serevalli.

Leafs arent really in cap hell as they can just put gaudette, clifford and anderson in the minors and have 3.1mill to do some work and heck if people lowballing on kerfoot then just trade holl lul

Even at that price, I still don't see a fit for Kerfoot with the Preds.

The Leafs aren’t either. Muzzin and/or Holl are gone and that frees up either 2, 5+ or 7+ mill to sign Sandin and/or Engvall and more depth. Or a legit top 6 winger.
