Pretty much, leaf’s fans are another level on here — 95% of them at least, there’s a few normal ones that live here in the same world as us though

Anaheim is $10 million under the cap floor because we have 6 open slots on the roster. The Boston guys are dying to send us Mike Reilly and the St. Louis guys are dying to send us Marco Scandella -- either one solves that problem instantly, so Jake Muzzin is not exactly a savior.

Joey Anderson would play #3RW for us, but in San Diego, not Anaheim. Holl is not an improvement on Shattenkirk, who played all 82 games for us last year and recorded 35 points with an awful team offensively.

Muzzin is a fine player, especially on a good team. He's not a cap dump to Toronto management or fans. But he's a cap dump to Anaheim because he won't get us to the playoffs, so there's no point to taking on a senior player when we have young LDs we're trying to develop unless you give us an incentive to take him.
