Give up on moving Muzzin unless there is a playoff team that seems open to taking on his full contract.

Holl, Kerfoot are really the only two that can be moved, most publications agree on this. Use the space you get with the loss of those two.

They definitely do. Mangiapane isn't re-signing. He didn't want to sign long term prior to Gaudreau and Tkachuk leaving so he sure isn't signing now. Holl and Kerfoot play large minutes on that team and get moved at the deadline for at least a 2nd and 5th if not more. Hirvonen is a top 5 prospect in Leafs system

His agent also said the opposite a couple of weeks ago so who really knows. I don't think there is any sense in the Flames signing him long term at this point with the state of their team. They will have to overpay to buy up UFA years.

No, his agent a couple of weeks ago said he THINKS Mangiapane should sign a short term contract. Not what Mangiapane was thinking
