Huberdeau and Weegar seem about right. Mangiapane just had his first full 82 game season and put up 35 goals at 26 years old so that deal would supposedly carry him through his prime. Really the only 'bad' signing is for Compher, which you're paying to be a bottom-6 center.

I more meant the Compher deal. I think he is incredibly overrated. Mangiapane probably won't get that much though, highly unlikely he gets more than Buchnevich

I get it for Compher. But that's an interesting point with Mangiapane v. Buchnevich. The contracts are only 200k off. Also, Buchnevich put up slightly better numbers on the Rangers but got to play with Panarin and Zibanejad and had a lot of top-PP time. He also averaged over 3 minutes more a game with New York before signing that contract with St. Louis.

In reality, Buchnevich has just gotten more opportunity and if you can lock a guy like Mangiapane down for 6M through his prime and he continues to shoot the 18.2% that he has averaged over the last 3 seasons, that is a good risk to take
