flames wouldnt do that. Giving up a top 15 defencemen and a 1st in a stacked draft class for Myers (not good) and Miller who will be tough to resign

maybe. Still worth it IMO though. They get a fair bit of cap space the year after with Monohan and Lucic coming off, might be able to squeeze in Miller and Huberdeau. And their team will easily make the playoffs this year.

I don't think he's far into negative value. Maybe by a couple mill but we retain 1 mill and he would be a good left D for the panthers, top 4 for sure. who is gonna be on left D for the panthers next yr?

Weegar is infinitely more likely to sign an extension in Calgary and Myers is grossly overpaid. Easy no from the Flames

He’s probably worth about 3.5 million he’s overpaid by over 4 million if you want to move him you’re probably going to need a first tbh, I don’t think he’s a top 4 anymore maybe a decent/solid 5th d man and that’s only because he had a better season last year then his previous couple

Myers is a 4th/5th caliber defenseman, he isn't overpaid by anymore than 2 million

Thats just completely wrong. He was one of the best shutdown defensemen in the entire playoffs.

I was talking about Oel but Myers is probably worth around 3-3.5 too

I understand, but if the Canucks are to retain some salary on OEL, even if it's just 1-1.5 million, I don't see them willing to attach assets to move him
