Where on Earth did you come to that conclusion?????

He has 52 Points in the season, 3 of them on the PP, if he is so offensively superior shouldn’t he have a little more than 3 PP points it's just a little odd

Why should he need more than 3 pp points if he spent almost no time on the 1st unit power play? 2nd unit powerplays don't score very often you know

He did get PP time, just not on the 1st unit

So I guess he was factually correct then and you were just wrong. You owe Tor an apology.

No, I don't understand why I owe anyone an apology. You should have been able to take my meaning in the first place

Your meaning that in a capitalized FACTUALLY INCORRECT, you actually meant he was right?

That Garland indeed got a significant amount of PP time.

He DID have PP time, but he DIDN'T have significant PP time. THAT is the difference

33% of the available time is a pretty significant chunk.

I think that's up for debate. 33% is still significantly less than 50%

33% of the game is about what 1st line players play in a 60 minute game. Are you saying 1st lines don't play a significant portion of minutes?

Okay hold on a sec, are we talking about power play or even strength?

We're talking about 33% being a significant sample size.

But you haven't specified the context

Does the context matter? When you are taking 33% of anything, its a significant sample size relative to the whole.

We were debating Garland's offensive ability and measuring that up against his power play time, but you seem to be going off topic for some reason

And you are saying he didn't get a significant amount of power play time while he played around 33% of the time available. I'm using comparisons to other things that are 33% portions to show how ridiculous that thinking is. Garland played the same rate of PP time as 1st line players play in a game and no one would try and call that not a significant amount of time. To try and say 2 hours of PP time isn't a significant amount is just baseless.

33% isn't necessarily a significant amount of time. What do you mean Garland played the same rate of PP time as 1st line players get total ice time in a game? That makes absolutely no sense
