The Avs r moving the better player. If anything the pick should be going the other way.

Don’t see the Avs doing that. Girard > Dvorak and Bowers + 2nd > Scheuneman

I liked Bowers before all the injuries. I doubt he clears waivers so unless he is going to get a real shot with the Avs he will probably be moved for a mid round pick if possible.

this would be a disaster for the avs.

R there any updates on Bowers rn? Hard for me to find info on him tbh. I probably don’t know where to look for Avs news the same way you would tho.

You see if I have the 2nd coming from MTL ill get attacked from Habs fans. It does make sense, but Dvorak is an awesome Kadri replacement. Girard is expendable now because of Byram. Schueneman is also a great sneaky piece for the Avs. Puck moving defenseman who fits Colorado's system really well. Also a better option for the third pairing if EJ or de Haan get hurt.

ive given up on him. two very underwhelming ahl regular seasons followed by a short but good playoffs this season. i would have been ok if the avs walked away this year.

Former 1st round pick who can't stay healthy.

I don’t think you should tiptoe around habs fans. Appeasement is a very poor strategy.

No. There r much better options at center the Avs could explore in a Girard trade. Sam Bennet in Florida comes to mind. They desperately need an upgrade on their left side after they moved Weegar.

Girard costs slightly more but that’s irrelevant once the panthers move Hornqvist.

I'd still like the trade without the 2nd in there personally, not that I speak for all Habs fans though
