How in the world do you guys have a mystery deal already signed for Kadri, but will keep all you're centers? Doesn't add up. Why spend 7mill plus on a 3rd line center?

I get that. I just find it hard to believe it would be a 3 year or less deal and not pay 7 mill + for him. He would just go back to Colorado for less.

i agree, and i fail to see where having him for longer and more money is a significant enough upgrade over brock nelson to replace him, and i don’t see why they’d push barzal to the wing, which is why i still just don’t see how it makes sense.

Nelson can play wing or maybe Barzal could move to wing considering faceoffs and defense aren't his calling cards.
