Not really an interesting return for Bertuzzi. I don't think Legare will be much, POJ isn't really needed with our signings and prospects. Blueger doesn't do much for us as we have alot of bottom six players. Only thing of interest is the first round pick but that alone is not enough.

Also Edmonton would likely rather keep McLeod than receive that package, he is worth way more to them.

McLeod will be a bargain as an RFA with no arbitration rights this year, so no way Edmonton does this cap wise. And further, he could really break out this season, he had a great playoffs with a lot of trust from the coach in important moments.

Wings pass, not what wings are looking for with a bertuzzi return

Detroit will want a roster player (to fill Berts shoes in the short term), a good prospect and a 1st.
The player : I'd imagine we'd have to take Zucker off Pittsburgh's hands just for cap reasons.
The prospect: Pittsburgh's prospect cupboard is quite bare with nothing of significant interest to Detroit.
The draft pick: With no prospect, I'd be asking for two 1st round picks 2023 and 2024.

I've already said Pittsburgh doesn't have any prospects that interest Detroit. That includes POJ and Lagere.
Also Zucker, POJ, 1st, Lagere is an even worse offer than the original post. I only swapped Blueger for Zucker just because Detroit doesn't want the other pieces and Zucker makes the cap work.
