Larkin gets you Theodore and a 2nd. Then just Theodore gets you Trouba. Not even close. It would be Theodore + 9OA at a minimum.

Also, why would Dallas take Howard back. Then they have Bishop Niemi and Howard. It saves them $2mil in cap space next season I guess but to give up their 1st in a really strong draft next year and Nichuskin's rights... not a chance.

I was thinking about adding the 1st round picks, that may make it a bit closer in value. The Jets are looking for that young LH DMan. Theodore is a very good young Dman on a Ducks team that will have to expose one of them

Theodore is expansion exempt.

Shea Theodore has 53 career NHL games under his belt and 17 points and you honestly think that Theodore+2nd is the value of Larkin even the Duck fans would say that this is a joke.

Don't know why people keep posting getting players in one trade and then just flipping then in another trade, that barely ever happens. The last time that happened I think was Martin Jones going to Boston from LA and then just getting traded to San Jose. Don't trade Larkin and Theodore for Trouba straight up would never happen, not even in NHL 17 with the trade level on easy. And then the Dallas trade makes no sense. If Dallas GM made that deal he would be fired on the spot. A couple overpaid plus 30 year old for the 3 overall pick plus a second round pick in a good draft.

I think it happened at the deadline this year. I want to say it involved Tampa, Pittsburgh and the Philly. I agree though, it almost never happens and its annoying to see how many people do these in mocks.

The Jones thing wasn't even planned TBH. Boston wanted to sign him to be the back-up but he refused to sign here and that's why he was traded again.

Yup you are right. Mark Streit went from Philly to Tampa and then Tampa flipped him to Pittsburgh.
