They aren't unreasonable deals (I do think MacKinnon is low), but you seem to be arriving at the numbers simply to fit under the cap. I doubt the agents care much about that.

Also that bottom 6 is ROUGH

Best top 6 in the league, maybe the worst bottom 6 in the league. But you cna fix it by trading Girard to free up space. Shouldn't have signed Manson either, but o well.

The team won't carry 23 on the roster, so that frees up a little space to bring in some bottom six help. They can't have all those young guys in the lineup.

I won't say I necessarily agree that they shouldn't have signed Manson, but it does make things tough and makes me a bit nervous, so I can certainly see where you're coming from.

I’d really like to see some of those guys get a shot this year particularly Maltsev and Kaut possibly even Bowers. Ranta is miss cast as a 4th line guy, he is either a middle 6 scoring power winger or they need to move him.
