If MTL ends up with #1 and #2 OA, impossible they sign Huberdeau to that contract. It would ruined our cap space and we wouldn’t be able to resign Bedard and Fantilli when they are due for an extension after their ELC. MTL would rather spend on a RHD shot like Dumba or Severson
No need of Girard
Armia won’t leave and MTL aren’t paying a 1st to dump Hoffman (you still have cap space and you signed Cogliano lmao)

Just because Mtl completely overpaid for Dach doesn’t mean you can get Girard for him. COL turns that down in a heartbeat.

Girard had more points than Dach last year as a defenseman, with less games played lmao
