Any chance they buyout Barrie? Or has that second buyout window ended for Edmonton already?

Honestly I would love this move, I think mayo is very underrated

The oilers are already paying enough money for buyouts.

I don't hate the trade at all. The only thing I'd personally change is to sign a more experienced 6th RHD. I could see that 3rd pairing getting eaten alive.

I would probably look to pair Bouchard with Nurse and then Split Ceci and Kulak with the Kids.

Why move Barrie. There is other ways to get under the cap move foegele to dare I say Buffalo. Maybe rethink or restructure the Kessel idea I do like that add but wouldn't do if requires moving Barrie. After kieth retired Barrie is the most experienced guy on that blueline with bouch broberg and niemelainen and samorukov all in the picture to some degree that level of experience shouldn't be disregarded as easily as I see most do.
