Chychrun would push a team like the Oilers over the top, he's a great goal scorer and well rounded player that would fit here well. Although Arizona has a very, very high asking price, the future isn't really a concern for Edmonton right now. The two 1st round picks and Broberg are to try to pry Chychrun out of Arizona and the rest of the package is for Arizona taking our dead money and gives them flexibility to sell more at the deadline if they had a huge fire sale.

Obviously this trade will definitely, definitely sting down the road, but whatever it takes to win with McDrais works for me.

Foegele trade may seem like a high price as well but buying cap space is extremely hard especially considering Edmonton would be the one without leverage.
