Sharks can’t afford/don’t need another 4th line player. Very easy pass

Canes probably take it... a 3rd and a warm body for the Wolves (I mean this in a far less violent way that it sounds at first)

Is Dowling not a good depth forward for Carolina and could be a good addition for the Chicago Wolves. I mean Canucks would keep him but I thought he had a little value to Carolina possibly.

He wouldn’t get a chance with the Canes unless something catastrophic happened, and he would take playing time away from some of the other Canes prospects down in Chicago. Sure, a veteran presence in Chicago would be quite beneficial for the young guns, but I don’t know if Dowling would be the best fit. Personally, I like Dowling, and I would love for him to keep playing at the NHL level, so if Carolina were to acquire him, he just wouldn’t get a chance to even make the Canes roster. Plus, it would keep an SPC slot open for the Canes so they might be able to sign Morrow to start giving him some AHL experience this season.

I think bear would be our second best defensman on the right hand side and is a cheap top 4 option for this year at least until Dumba/severson become UFAs maybe we could target one of them.

Can do with our without dowling but canes accept. As long as dowling can be moved to the wolves it’s just a throwaway in my eyes.
