Yotes decline easily. Zadorov and Lucic are both cap dumps. The offer has very little value. Lucic costs a 1st alone to move.

He’s only due $1m in salary so won’t need to give up a 1st to shed the cap hit. I wouldn’t call Zadorov a cap dump. He played pretty well last season.

With that said, moving Lucic and trading for Chychrun should be separate and this trade has too many pieces.

I think it's an easy argument to make, and part of me agrees with you, but I also don't think there are many teams willing to take on significant cap for a fringe NHL player.
If teams need to shed cap, and the few teams willing to take cap stand firm on high asking prices, I'm not sure, "it shouldn't take a first" is really going to change anyone's mind. There's no urgency from the teams with cap space.

I also don't think the offer as-is is very tempting for Arizona, but that's another conversation.
