Toronto 100% declines that offer.

If it only took a 3rd round pick to move Josh Bailey he'd already be dealt. Try more like a 1st or 2 2nd round picks.

There's no real reason for the Leafs to do this. They already have 6-7 NHL defensemen on board, trading for another one who has no term, have no interest in futures which are the primary value offered by the Isles and are giving up one of their top wingers for it. Could Dufour one day replace Nylander? Sure. Is he going to do it in the next 2 seasons while Matthews is still under contract? No.
