You’d assume wrong.

Forbort is their top guy on the PK and when paired with Clifton 5x5 their metrics are crazy good.

Reilly would be the D man most likely traded. Craig Smith is also a candidate.

Agreed. Smith would be a good pick to keep because the team will need forwards without Marchy for a month. BUT if they wanna give McLauhlin/Studnicka/Lysell a full time spot then someone will have to go, and again Smith becomes expendable.

Forbort will stay. Reilly will be gone (and maybe Grizz too)

I hate to move Smith, however if they could package him with Foligno while retaining some on Nick, 1.3ish, to say Minny for a bottom roster guy making around 2m…Jost maybe….would be worth it.

That’s an interesting proposition. Never been a huge fan of Jost but I get the idea. Would prefer to not love Smith but if it gets Foligno off the books there could be a discussion to be had …

Don’t care about Jost at all, flip him for all i care. It save 3.7 in cap immediately, improves Minny and they can fit it under the cap, gets Foligno off the roster. I think he bounces back somewhat but 3.8m is unacceptable
