I traded for holl because he’s a physical rd that sabers could use. He’s also a solid defensemen.

Not making the playoffs but they definitely have a lot of young players that can develop to play good

Don’t see the Sabres trading for Holl to sit Joki. Joki at this point is a good 5, and could still end up a good 4. I think this season will evaluate whether he can be a good partner for Power or not.

Leafs would be moving Holl for cap reasons. Taking back 1.6 mil cap in return for him doesn't make any sense.
