It's hardly inside info, dude. The Blues already have 6 NHL level LDs, and two of them are already on the small side. One of those is a better young guy to develop, so why would they bring in another similar player? And at least five of those six are more useful to the Blues now than Brannstrom. On top of all that, they definitely want to replenish the prospect pool, so trading a high pick for a guy they don't need at all who ain't exactly showing he'll be a NHL contributor on a rebuilding team makes no sense for a contender. This is a no-brainer.
