It's a healthy return for Rantanen (and I'm an Avs fan). But Colorado still says no only because the $1.5 million in cap savings won't be enough to extend Caufield when his RFA deal is done in 1 year and they are tight to the cap to re-sign MacKinnon; and extend Byram/Newhook next year.
