This would be a nice trade but who’s gonna replace nylander, we need another top 6 forward

Nylander isnt that much more valuable imo. Id say drop the 1st/2nd and make it a 3rd then its a decent trade

Stars have an unsigned RFA that was over 1 ppg last season. Nylander hasnt hit 1 ppg since AHL.
I doubt Stars trade a key piece of their D for Nylander.
Wouldnt have money to sign Jake and Robo.
And it creates a huge hole in Dallas’ D.

Leafs need Lindell’s defence more than Stars need to overpay on decent production like Nylander.
Doesnt make sense for Dallas.

Subtract the 1st and 4th and it's a solid trade.

Not sure it would be top priority atm for Dallas tho but they could definitely use nylander up front.

Also esa is another LD which the leafs don't really need. But if somehow they offset muzzin going the other way and maybe the leafs taking on Khudobins contract for LTIR?
