Lets just state the obvious first.....ALL teams would want Miller for playoff runs. I'm sure Drury would love to rent him for next years playoffs. The real question is what are teams willing to pay? The Rangers are not in the position of possibly losing Miller for nothing, the Canucks are, so they can play Russian Roulette with him and try to squeeze out every drop of value they can but risk losing him for nothing. It happens. The risk is 100% on the Canucks. If Drury wouldn't go above Chytil, Lundqvist and a 1st round pick for 2 years of playoffs, it is absurd to think he would even offer then same for 1 year, let alone more. Absurd.

I’d probably want Horvat at this point tbh. He’s two years younger and his numbers are only down cause he gets less time than Miller.

i havnt mentioned the rangers once i dont think they are a fit for miller after getting trochek. and altough the aquiring team would only get miller for 1 playoff run instead of 2, they would also more than likely get retention now and get him at half the price. considering the quality of rentals that have returned 1sts (Chairot, Hartman) i dont think its ridiculous to think miller could return roughly 2 1sts worth of assets. Again its absolutely impossible which team will be in a position to do this in 6 months, so all we can do is speculate

This dude would probably ask for Othmann and Cullye with a straight face lmao

no i wouldnt, but im happy to rattle off some ROUGH trade ideas

NYR - Kravstsov, 1st
NYI - Raty, 1st
NSH - Fabbro, 1st
NJD - Muk, 1st
WSH - Mcmicheal,1st

for the last time, it is impossible to say what team would be in a position to make this kind of deal in 6 months time, but there will be lots of interest

I don't think the Rangers are a good trade partner either, but my point was that Canuck fans keep posting absurd Miller to the Rangers trade regardless of reality. Same goes with Miller to the Islanders for Dobson or Raty. None of those trades have even a 0.00000001% chance of happening, but that doesn't seem to matter. As I said....its absurd.

You couldn’t get Raty. You probably couldn’t get fabbro. Mukhamadullin is 50/50 and Kravtsov hasn’t proven **** Lmao.

The Ranger trade of Kravstov and a 1st is reasonable and Drury would 99% chance do the deal, but I bet you 99% of Canuck fans on here would say its way too little and demand Schneider or Othmann be thrown in.

It’s about age nothing else. I don’t c the Canucks as much as I’d like to. But I was very impressed by Podkolzin when I saw him and I thought Horvat was very good against the isles as well.

I understand what you are saying. And I really don’t believe you’ve seen Raty play. Or if you have seen him play you only saw him play last night and thought to ur self “time to trade in Miller for a younger model.”

Im not saying Raty will be as good as Miller. Im just saying there is a reason U want to make this deal Lmao.

I DONT KNOW WHY BUT I GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT GETTING JT MILLER in the long run
